This working group met at the OEP in Concord. Work accomplished in the previous meetings was reviewed, and the priority and sequence of action steps was fine tuned.
Following an update on CTAP progress to date, work focused on Sub-Theme 2, Vibrant Communities, and creating an action plan for years two – five and beyond.
The first Theme C working group meeting of 2007 convened at the Nashua Regional Planning Commission. The purpose of the meeting was to create an action plan for years two – five of the program.
The second Theme C meeting was held on August 8, 2006 at the offices of the Central New Hampshire Planning Commission in Concord. Seven members of the Theme C Group and two ANEI staff were present. The goal of the meeting was to finalize CTAP Year-One Program recommendations for presentation and discussion at the upcoming Co-Chair meetings.

This group is charged with developing specific activities that they would like to occur in Year-One (September/October 2006 – August/September 2007) in the interest of building downtown/village centers and community vitality. Becky Hebert was introduced as the co-chair for the group. She has a background in landscape architecture and regional planning and currently works as a representative in Windham to redefine their downtown district. Discussion focused on how to draw community involvement into the downtown revitalization aspect of the CTAP project and what particular CTAP strategies and actions they wanted to focus on for Year One.
