Theme B - Environmental Protection and Open Space

The work begun in the previous two 2007 meetings was reviewed and work began on finalizing the Action Plan and sequencing action steps for each Action Category.

This working group meeting reviewed CTAP progress to date, focused on the sub-theme, Open Space Protection, and worked toward creation of an Action Plan for years two through five and beyond.
March 21, 2007
The goal of this Theme B working group meeting was to refine recommendations for programs to be implemented in the coming years. Additionally, it reviewed the priority and importance of the action categories and action steps already established.
August 10, 2006 Meeting
The second Theme B meeting was held at the offices of the Nashua Regional Planning Commission. Seventeen members of the Theme B Group and two ANEI staff were present. The goal of the meeting was to finalize CTAP Year-One Program recommendations for presentation and discussion at the upcoming Co-Chair meetings.
July 13, 2006 Meeting
The first Theme B meeting was held at the offices of Nashua Regional Planning Commission. Thirteen members of the Theme B Group and three ANEI staff were present. This group is charged with developing specific activities that they would like to occur in Year-One (September/October 2006 – August/September 2007) in the interest of environmental protection and open spaces. First pass recommendations on the identified strategies and actions for Year One were made.
